Elad Hemar, Co-Founder and CEO

Elad Hemar is Co-Founder and CEO of Yoomba, responsible for its overall strategic direction and day to day operations.

Prior to founding Yoomba, he was a co-founder of Informative Inc. (formerly Cahoots), a Silicon Valley based company, which pioneered the approach of connecting website visitors online to the creation of mini call center solutions for real-time web interaction and support from customer service. At Informative, he was responsible for several mergers & acquisitions and took an active role in general management, R&D, finance operations, and sales and business development. He also held the position of General Manager and Chief Operating Officer at Cahoots after co-founding the company in 1999.

Elad served in the Israel Defense Force in the Intelligence Computer Division, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from Tel Aviv University.

Ronen Babayoff, Co-Founder and CTO

Ronen Babayoff is Co-Founder and CTO of Yoomba, responsible for strategic technology directions for the company.

Prior to founding Yoomba, he was a co-founder of Informative Inc. (formerly Cahoots), a Silicon Valley based company, which pioneered the approach of connecting website visitors online to the creation of mini call center solutions for real-time web interaction and support from customer service. At Informative, he was responsible for all aspects of the company's technology vision and roadmap. He also held the position of CTO at Cahoots after co-founding the company in 1999.

Prior to Cahoots, he was a software architect at Israel's largest cellular phone carrier, Pelephone Ltd. While at Pelephone, Ronen designed and led the implementation of one of Israel's most robust provisioning systems.

Ronen served in Air Force Intelligence for the Israeli Defense Force, where he graduated with honors. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science and Economics from Tel Aviv University.

George Lasry, President of EMEA

George Lasry is President of EMEA for Yoomba, responsible for the Israeli-based R&D center, and for EMEA operations and business activities.

George Lasry brings more than twenty years of experience in senior management, R&D, marketing, sales, business development, strategic planning and mergers and acquisitions, in the telecom, enterprise, and consumer software industries. He has played a central role in the successful transition of companies from start-up phase to market leadership.

Before joining Yoomba, he was General Manager of EMEA and Vice President of R&D at Actelis Networks, a Broadband equipment vendor. At Actelis, George built and managed the R&D group and later led market penetration, and sales and marketing efforts in EMEA and APAC markets, generating half of the company revenue.

Before joining Actelis, he was Director of Marketing and Business Development at NICE Systems where he was instrumental in securing strategic partnerships, identifying new market opportunities and in the acquisition of several companies. He has also held several positions in technology and software development, and R&D management positions at NICE Systems, as well as National Semiconductor and in an elite technology division of the Israeli Defense Forces.

George Lasry holds a Bachelor of Science (Cum Laude) in Computer Engineering from the Technion Institute of Technology and an MBA from Herriot-Watt University

Sean Gaddis, Vice President, Marketing

Sean is Vice President of Marketing for Yoomba, responsible for corporate strategy, communications, customer acquisition, and customer lifecycle management.

With nearly 20 years of experience in customer marketing, he has spent more than a decade in the internet marketing and start-up markets.

Prior to Yoomba, Sean was Director of Customer Marketing at Skype, successfully helping to launch the company's transition from free calling to its first ever paid calling plan in North America, as well as the plan's global framework. Previous to Skype, he was a manager with eBay's customer marketing team, where he led eBay's customer lifecycle and contact strategy efforts, as well as the upgrade to the company's home page. Also with eBay, Sean was responsible for transactional and marketing emails, significantly increasing metrics across some of eBay's most strategic assets, resulting in billions of customer impressions. Sean also has experience working with Netscape, where he managed its direct marketing efforts, which included the development of Netscape's contact strategies, leveraging the power of the internet to drive increased acquisition and usage.

Sean has a Bachelor of Arts from California State University, Chico.

Torben Mottes, Senior Director, Product Management

Torben Mottes is Senior Director of Product Management for Yoomba, responsible for the planning and roadmap of the company's online communications service.

Torben brings an extensive background in international business to his role at Yoomba. Prior to Yoomba, he was a Product Director at Lycos Europe's Communities division (part of the Bertelsmann group, Germany), where was responsible for managing the localization of Lycos Chat in seven different languages through its partnerships with Yahoo!, Vodafone and T-Online. Previous to Lycos Europe, Torben worked with Yahoo! in its Small Business division managing the Email Communication and Domains product lines. Before his time with Lycos Europe and Yahoo!, Torben co-founded DGT, Ltd and held product management and marketing positions at several startups including NetSuite and Bigstep.

Torben holds an M.B.A. from University of California, Berkeley.

Daphne Carmeli, Executive Chairman

Daphne has 25 years executive and operational experience leading cross functional teams in high growth, category leading, entrepreneurial environments. In addition to her role at Yoomba, Daphne is actively involved in advising a number of emerging technology companies including Visible Measures, Hub Spot, Support Space, MesmoTV and NotchUp.

As co-founder and CEO of Metreo, Daphne led Metreo from its inception in 2000 through 2006, overseeing the company's business, product strategy and direction. During this time, Metreo was two-time Deloitte Consulting Rising Star award winner, recognized as one of the top vendors within the Supply & Demand Chain Executive 100 as well awarded #1 Fastest Growing Private Company by the San Francisco Business Times in 2004. Metreo was acquired by Symphony Technology Group in February 2006. Prior to Metreo, Daphne was the Vice President of Marketing at Netscape/America Online (AOL). While at Netscape/AOL, Daphne played a key role in repositioning and revitalizing Netscape from a browser company into an enterprise software company, driving efforts that grew the E-Commerce Application Division from $5M to over $70M in 18 months. Prior to Netscape/AOL, Daphne was Director of Marketing at Healtheon/WebMD where she pioneered the marketing and business model for first true transaction-based B2B platform. She previously held marketing management positions at Silicon Graphics (SGI) and Logica Data Architects. Daphne received her MBA from Carnegie Mellon University and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Brandeis University with BS in Mathematics.
